M-Class Grand Edition

Mercedes-Benz’s slow selling luxury SUV the M-Class will get some cosmetic enhancement thanks to a new ‘Grand Edition’ package.

The Autocar reports that M-Class Grand Edition which will launch soon at a premium of about Rs. 5 lakh will get an exterior and interior styling pack and new equipment. On the outside the new M-Class variant will feature LED daytime running lights, dark tinted headlamps, an AMG grille and under guards, 19-inch alloy wheels and aluminium roof rails.

On the inside the SUV will feature thermal insulation glass, new ambient lighting, new wood trim and Artico man-made leather upholstery. Reports also suggest that Mercedes will lower the M-Class’s price point in the near future to compete with new offerings from Audi and BMW like the new X1 and Q3 for which Mercedes does not have a rival product just yet.
