Finally the Polo 1.6 is here

Finally Volkswagen has given the good looking Polo some muscle. The puny three-cylinder engine is now joined by a mightier 104bhp 1.6-litre petrol engine which also does duty in the newly launched Vento sedan.

VW has launched the Polo 1.6 only in Highline trim priced at Rs. 6.72 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai). Though the price tag is steep, the car is sure to plant a smile on your face. VW is claiming city mileage of 10.5kmpl and a highway figure of 15.5kmpl, which is believable.

Let’s just hope VW is able to produce the Polo faster and reduce the long waiting periods.
