2009 Mercedes-Benz M-Class Launched in India

Mercedes-Benz India has launched the 2009 model of the M-Class SUV in the local market. The launch comes one year after the international launch at the 2008 New York Auto Show in March last year. The new model gets quite a few additions including a redesigned front and rear with revised headlamps, grille and tail lamps. It also gets a new 4-spoke multi-function steering wheel, 7-speed GTronic automatic gearbox with 4MATIC permanent all-heel drive system and new 19-inch alloy wheels.

In India the Mercedes-Benz M Class has been launched in two variants, the V6 ML 320CDI diesel and the ML 350 V6 petrol. Prices of the new model have been rationalised keeping in mind the tough market conditions and the new ML 320 CDI is pegged at Rs. 54 lakh, while the petrol engined ML 350 will set you back by Rs 53.77 lakh (both ex-showroom Mumbai).
