Suzuki has officially unveiled it’s 5th world car, the A-Star on the first day of the Paris Motor Show. The A-Star will be manufactured solely from it’s plant in India and sold first in the Indian market beginning November’ 08. The A-Star will also be exported in RHD and LHD configuration to international markets soon after. In India the A-Star will be pegged below the Swift at the Rs. 3-4 lakh, but internationally the car will replace the aging Alto. The A-Star will also be sold as the Nissan Pixo in select markets under a platform sharing agreement between Suzuki & Nissan.
