I had written in a previous post that the new Honda City is due in November’ 2008 (New Honda City Coming in November’ 2008). The new City test mules have been since been spotted at many locations in Asia including India. In this post i present a few pictures of the 2009 City without disguise and in the avatar in which it will be launched shortly. From the pictures the new Honda City looks almost as exciting as the initial sketches which Honda released. The front end has a sharp aggressive design with a bold multi slat grille and a big Honda logo. The headlights are quite dramatic too. The rear gives a very squat sports car like look to the City mainly because of the tail lights being positioned to the extreme corners and the sporty bumper.

The interiors look contemporary and fresh, though i couldn’t help notice that there is no climate control which is expected in a car in this price range. Also Honda has given the new City, Civic’s steering wheel which is nice. The new civic would be coming with a 1.5 litre VTEC engine producing 118 bhp.
