Bajaj has said that it will soon launch a new avatar of it’s entry level bike Platina 125cc. The new Platina will be endowed with the 125cc DTS-Si engine which does duty in the XCD. The new DTS-Si Platina will also get an electric start feature. The new Platina 125cc DTS-Si launches in September’ 08. Expect pricing to be around Rs. 36000. Improved fuel economy is also on the cards due to the new engine.
