Auto Expo 2008: Maruti Makes a Splash

Maruti Suzuki is all set to make a Splash in the Indian market. The Splash is Suzuki’s fourth strategic world model and is based on the hot selling Swift. The Splash is a taller hatchback targetted at families who can use the extra space. The height makes it a tall boy but its the best tall boy hatch to have hit the Indian market yet. The rear looks rather sporty with a inward angling windsreen and side pillar tail lamps. The flared wheel arches lend the Splash a masculine appeal. You can view it as a more practical version of the Swift since many find the Swift a little short on interior space if you are a family of 4/5 travelling together. The Splash would be launched in India in the summer of 2008 and is likely to come with the Swift’s 1.3 litre petrol and 1.3 litre multi jet diesel engines. The pricing would be a little higher than the Swift in the range of Rs. 4.5-5.5 lakh.

I am loyal user of Maruti Suzuki vehicles since last 25 years, used almost every hatchback, esteem & baleno and totally satisfied with their high performance at frugal maintainance costs. Also eagerly waiting to own new comming ‘SPLASH’. By going thro’ details & specifications it seems it will really prove tobe ‘Multi Utility Vehicle’.

all maruti cars have black & grey interiors , yuk it dark and ugly , they dont seems to have good taste, or dont have good color sense. Use of right colors schemes makes interior s roomy and cool plasing to eyes. I dont know when our auto maker will learn that

  16. Dassy says:
