Tata today launched the Indica with a DICOR (commom rail diesel) engine at the Auto Expo 2008. The Indica V2 Dicor has a turbocharged 1.4 litre common rail diesel unit with an intercooler but the power output is a dull 70 PS @ 4000 rpm with 140 Nm of torque. Infact this is the identical engine which does duty in the Tata Indigo DICOR. The Indica thanks to the new DICOR engine would be more silent, fuel efficient, smoother and peppier, so all in all a welcome addition to the range. The Indica V2 DICOR goes on sale immediately and is available at a pocket friendly price of Rs. 4.25 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).

you know im really excited about the new
indica v2 dicor.. it fits my necessity of long drives as well s shorter city deives… what concerns me the most is the power and noise.. please do suggest a car in the same class with the same price… i think a 1400 cc car with this price is real good…. or am i not knowing anyother
options??
